MeetingsIn addition to the events that our members know and enjoy, our committee members meet regularly to continue the elevation of the HVSA. The committee meets the first Monday of every month, and this is the Administrative meeting. New members applications are read to the membership and discussed at this meeting. We also try to conduct other business at this meeting as well. The club also has a meeting on the third monday of every month. Club events are planned and discussed at the meetings. This is a regular meeting, and is the meeting where new members are voted on. The meetings are held at the Radford Road clubhouse, and they start at 8pm. All members and guests are invited to attend. In addition to the announcements and events you see on the right navigation bar, you can find meeting minutes and decions made by our board on this page. Only the most recent meetings will be displayed by default, but you can view the archive by using the search feature below. Meeting minutes for the meetings held on February 1st, and February 15th, 2010 Sickness and distressed members- Greg Linscott's father has passed away. Presidents Report- Thanks to all members involved with installing the new stainless steel kitchen sink in the Radford kitchen. It looks great, and will be very handy for the feeds that we have. Secretary's Report- We now have 335 paid members, and 13 members present. Treasurer's Report- A complete report given. Committee Reports- Bow Committee- nothing at this time. Trap and Sporting clay committee- Good turn out on thursday nights. Sporting clays on Sundays were good. We still need new traps. New birds are in. Members trap shoots are every Wednesday night, public trap shoots every thursday night. Sporting clay shoots set for the following dates; March 21st, April 11th and18th. Maintenance Committee- Chris has ordered new drumsticks. Dinner Committee- Wild game feed coming up. We need mailers printed and sent out to members. New members read - Derek Brickles. Old Business discussed- The Hunters Education class is scheduled for March 27th, there is still room in the class. New Business discussed- Motion made and passed for the Brick Layers Union to reserve the Radford clubhouse on May 8th, and Eric Gryska to reserve the Radford clubhouse and grounds on April 10th. The portable pistol range targets need repaired. A discussion about government projects. Our next scheduled meeting is on March 15th 2010, starting at 8pm. Please all members try to attend.
